Title: Market Research Analyst
Duties:
Evaluate, analyze, and implement
research and statistical
techniques to develop marketing
strategies for sales of POS &
Kiosk products to mostly Chinese
restaurants & supermarkets;
Research & track and follow
competitor's mailings and product
programs & monitor industry
statistics and follow industry
trends through industry magazines
and literatures including
exploring new technologies in
the market place;
Gather information from customers
thru questionnaires, surveys by
mail or telephone to assess
customer satisfaction, needs and
preferences;
Compile data to forecast marketing
trends & work with management to
assess the impact of various
product marketing initiatives;
Provide specific analysis on each
product line, including assessment
of gross margins;
Develop & implement marketing
strategies & organize promotional
activities such as Chinese
advertisements, flyers, brochures
& exhibitions;
Research & analyze new product
opportunities & collaborate with
Taiwan and China affiliates for
product enhancements & new product
lines;
Research & provide management
(including China & Taiwan affiliates)
with specific information on
competition, distribution, design,
new market opportunities, and
pricing of products.
Requirements: Master or MBA in
Marketing required plus 1 year
experience in job or as a marketing
analyst in POS or Kiosk products.
Must speak, read and write English
& Mandarin Chinese fluently.
